Course Overview
Machine Learning (ML) is rapidly becoming one of the most valuable tools in a cyber warrior’s toolkit. However, it can be difficult to start in ML or apply it to security problems. This workshop offers a math-free overview of machine learning algorithms as well as their application to security problems. Additionally we will present several use cases of machine learning as applied to security problems.
By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:
Understand the difference between supervised and unsupervised learning
Understand the different problem types that are well suited to machine learning
Have a conceptual understanding of several machine learning algorithms including K-NN, Random Forests and DBSCAN
Understand the overall process for building and deploying a machine learning model

Course Size Requirements
The Base level includes 10 students. Level up to unlimited students for $1,000 more. Head count must be locked in at the time of contract.

Course Format
- GTK typically uses Google Meets for virtual courses, but can use any service with advanced notice.
